I think his main problem is he just refuses to strengthen the fundamental areas that make a footy team tough and hardened. Then there is his weak attitude. What the Dogs did to that player who showed up to training late is the kind of win at all costs or f*** off to another club attitude that wins premierships.

Bellamy has it, Cleary has it, Ciraldo has it, Benji is showing signs these past two years that he has it, McGuire has it, Robbo has it, Bennett has it, Flanagan has it, Spoon doesn't. He is a soft, touchy feely, new age coach. Spoon will get skinned and badly exposed next week.

100%. His positivity at all costs attitude makes me sick. It literally leaves a bitter taste in the mouth - as a fan of this great club for all of my 50 years. He has NONE of the winning attitude and DNA that we used to be famous for.

Not worse than 2013 when Hiku was in great form got us to a gf and we hooked him to bring in (back from injury) Brett Stewart who was playing on one leg, there was moments in that second half where we won with Hiku at fullback.

Not sure what you’re talking about in fairness. Brett Stewart played the majority of 2013, although he did return from an injury lay-off in round 16. Hiku should’ve played in the GF, in place of Williams. No doubt. But wow, this 2025 rabble don’t compare.

Pretty obvious isn't it. That's what an experienced or winning mentality coach does. They rest the player under an injury cloud, bring in a fit replacement and make them believe they can fulfill the role. Problem is, Spoon only knows how to play one way and Saab is a big part of that.

After our dead attack last week he made no nuts decisions in his team selections and it blew up in his face big time for all to see. Including that smirking clown ofxa rugby coach seated behind him.

I have been a big supporter of him but these bench selections are getting ridiculous. Not even including tonight, why is Waddell an automatic selection on the bench every week to play the final 5 minutes of games? Bloody pointless

Because his sister is engaged to Jake and they now have all the power and are calling the shots, Seibold is happy to play along and keep them happy and keep his job.
