Willie Peters. Manly's next coach?

Buzz Rothfield is reporting that Willie Peter's could be Seibold's successor at Manly. Also reported that Adam O'Brien may be set for a new role at Manly.

I would love for us to get a guy like Willie Peters. Adam O'Brien was known as a good assistant coach at the Storm.

We have a Temu Storm going with Seibold and AOB. Both former Bellamy assistants at the Storm.

While this may help us develop a “system” of sorts, there’s no point in it, if the players don’t believe their messaging. Both are terrible communicators… “They don’t know anything about rugby league”.

Peters is interesting. I’ve completely forgotten how he exited last time, but I remember it being messy… Strange that the factional forces in the club now seem to like him (apparently).

Unless there is a drastic change of heart with the Penn family, Willie Peters will not be back at our club given the way his first stint ended at the Club; perhaps they've mended the relationship.

I'm not a fan of the way, allegedly, Willie Peters "carried on" during the recent Newcastle head coach selection process.

While it didn’t end well at coaches mad Monday beers and probably no excuse either but there were mitigating circumstances that led him to putting one on the chin of our former fitness coach. Something Trent and the club ignored and didn’t manage unfortunately

You mean his manager Braith saying on NRL360 he should be offered the role without interviewing for it?

What a load of Buzz****. I cannot see how this would work for WP or the club.

The way this club is going and the staff leaving this club coinciding with a reluctance of people to turn down coaching roles, it would not surprise me if the head coach position might be advertised on SEEK. I was always curious as to what caused friction between Penn and Delmege, Des and others. I think it really goes without saying after all the poor results over the years.

Are there any viable candidates the club hasn't f#cked over at some point in time?
Well they have certainly seen off a few that actually liked Manly, because they are Manly, to a greater or lesser extent:

Des;
Hanging Chad; and
Monnas.

I know Ballin’s out there, but I think he moved on of his own volition.
