Think about it after snake and Skivy depart and with the cap to rise beyond 7 mil, we should have around 1.4 million at least to spend, likely much more, especially once we deal with releasing the duds of the "potentials squad". Is it just me or do you guys think we'll be one of the richer clubs come next season's off-season. Also interesting to see how far the caps come from around the 3 million mark just a few years ago

If not I reckon we just go all out in the powerball

Wouldn't we be rich if the cap was 7M and we had like 9M..? Having 1.4M to replace two legends leaves us poorer unless you can extract performance for what will be less money (once adjusted for the cap increase)

9Mil will be a big jump from 7, I wonder how much they will increase it by.. Maybe we'd know by now if they were at least the slightest bit efficient, well it is the NRL I guess, thanks to old Todd green****. How he makes a million a year stuns me

I was planning to buy the Sea Eagles and make us the richest club in the galaxy with total world domination. Premierships every year. Little Toddy will be grovelling at my feet so I don't throw him into my personal shark aquarium.
But then...in the past two weeks I totalled my car in a psychotic storm - I'm fine - cars wrecked, found out I'll eventually need several k worth of dental crowns, smashed my phone and am buying an expensive kick-arse lens for my camera.
Plans to buy Manly on hold.

You have to realise that replace two guys like Stewart and Matai coming off deals paying say 600K each isn't great when the caps going up significantly because a) we've already allocated money to upgrading a few others and b) if you want to spend 600K on a player now, you'll get an average one because the markets blown out.

What we really need is to be getting rid of expensive dudes *cough Nate* who you can replace quite cheap and then allocate the rest of their money to increasing the Stewart/Matai cash pool.
