Listening to the media I still get the feeling that some pundits don't rate us as realistic chances this year. On the radio today there was the impression that whilst we are good we won't be in the picture at the end of the season.

Some fans are waiting for us to do a Cronulla of last year and fall off the perch.

The question lies - are we the real deal or pretenders?

This is coming from people who haven't watched every game of football we've played.

The same people (Gary Freeman) who think we will struggle without George Rose (one of our best forwards apparently).

i think we are better off without the favourites tag anyway.

im sure if you go to the betting where people have money on the line and cant afford to let agendas get in the way our odds will indicate we are the real deal

This is ideal.

The media are talking about us. We are in the news. We are receiving more free to air time. Our existing sponsors will be happy and will assist in securing new sponsors.

The media and commentators whilst talking about us, havnt as yet, talked us up, so theres less pressure on us. The longer this stays the case the better.

happy to be written off by all and sundr in my opinion, teams will relax against us and it wiull steel the players much like it did saturday.

We keep coming in in the betting:
MELBOURNE STORM 3.30
MANLY SEA EAGLES 4.60
NORTH QLD COWBOYS 9.00
WESTS TIGERS 9.00
BRISBANE BRONCOS 13.00
CRONULLA SHARKS 13.00
BULLDOGS 15.00
PARRAMATTA EELS 17.00
NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS 23.00

I'm glad I got a $11 divie back in March.

I got us @ $12 pre season

Doesnt worry me what the media say, the Panthers were never a threat in 2003, Same with the Tigers in 2005
