There may be something allegorical in this story. Certainly it's captured world headlines for a couple of weeks, and why not, it has everything. The rank stupidity of which humans are capable; our caring for our communities even wider communities, and especially for children; and then the bravery and ingenuity of humankind to get them out. All bar one Thai Navy Seal who perished along the way.
