Why?

Why was the new CEO greeting fans at the main ground entrance yesterday?
Why did Manly turn up and deliver that complete crap yesterday?
Why wasn't Hastings warming up with the first grade team, in case a back got injured in the warm up = Uate.
Why does Captain DCE always go for family time in the Churchill corner after a game, when he needs to be with his team talking to them, lifting spirits after a crap loss?

Your first question is easily answered. Every morning I am greeted by the director of my daughters school at the door as I walk in "Goede morgen meneer"

That's what principals do

As others have said, you look at The Chooks, and our performance this week. Both very tired performances. Manly aren't push overs this season. You want to mix it with us, you're in for a fight. The Chooks deserve what they got this week, because they put all their eggs into beating Manly last week, and got beaten up for it (and we matched them).

Tim Cleary meeting people at the ground is amazing. Good on him. Every time a read something new on him, it impresses me more and more.

Hastings got a concussion, and failed the test @bazeagle for NSW Cup.

DCE as captain has to do so much. If he's taking a bit of time with his family after a very tough and draining game for him, so be it mate. We have a leadership group. I was pleased to see Cartwright gutted in the coaches box during the game. Showed he has SOME emotion for our jersey. That's all I want.

I don't know... they looked like "push-overs" yesterday and in the bunny match.

Why would a Captain berate his players after a game?

Everyone involved would have felt deflated.🙁
The Team needs to watch the Video with calm heads to learn what went wrong.

Having a balance between work and family life is the secret to a happy life :inlove:
Where did I say DCE should be berating his players? An arm around his players, a quite word is what I mean. Plenty of time for family time - he is paid to be the Captain of the team and yesterday was game day, as in NOT a family day. Save the family pics for later. It's pretty obvious.

Hastings shouldn't have played in the NSW Cup game. I like the Cleary thing, I think. Disagree with you re DCE - it's game day. He can see his family after he's had a chat with the players and a shower. i.e. about an hour after the final whistle. Plus there's mega time in the week after training. I reckon it's wrong.

1) I wasn't greeted by the new CEO but was given a flag and delivered with a smile, which I thought was a nice welcome. Not a bad flag, except it looks "Raidersish" (half of it has green Lottoland on it 🙄).
2) Your guess is as good as mine!
3) Answered.
4) I don't think DCE 'always' go for family time - he always comes around the fence after a win (trouble is they've been few and far between lately!). Yesterday as I watched him I thought he's with his family for commiseration and to lift HIS spirits. And, as @The '47ers said, family comes first

Yeah the team does a lap of honour after a win - with DCE - that's normal.

Chez has done the exact same thing as long as he has been at Manly.
Before it was just Vessa, now he has the kiddies to hug directly after the game.:inlove:
In fact he and quite a few other Players make it a point to seek out their family straight after each game, including SOO and Finals.🙂

It is just a game, once the whistle goes it is over till the Coach sits them down for a review @

Yep, that was good to see as prior to that, all I had embedded into my thoughts was when he was laughing at Barrett going off during that Panthers game.
