Seriously they report on some mundane aspects as if they are outrageous. The problem is that there are so many sheep willing to get swept up in it.
Manly players dressed up and they all had stubbies in their hands. Ahh yeah so? Players can’t have a beer at the end of the year? Go to any pub, restaurant, hotel anywhere in the world and you’ll see people with stubbies in their hands - just like the people reporting it.
The Bulldogs players were playing pokies - oh really - that’s terrible, how dare they! Someone yelled “yeah the boys” - why that’s obscene!
Report on the naked dancing in public - sure - that’s too much and not a good look, the rest of it is the media’s Jedi mind trick that unfortunately works all too often on the weak minded.
