I still think we need the combo work, as stated by Double H, but I'm excited by the prospect of Turbo, maybe to be a SOO player for many years, DCE is a potential miracle maker, Green will tie it together, and our depth in the Hooker/Utility roll is phenomenal. Exciting times for Manly.

On the spine, I like:

Storm
Warriors
Broncos
Roosters
Manly

Although each of these teams have speculative plays, I just think these 5 teams have the right mix.

Api, is our only worry, but we have a few options, only early days yet.

I agree. I can't see Titans being anything but top 4. And when u have the NRL rooting for you, anything can and will happen.

Slater is on his last legs and barely took the field, Munster is untried at 5/8 in the top level and look at how that went last year for us, Scum isn't in my top 5

A top hooker and I'd rate us higher. Tom T would be in the top three and DCE at his best would probably be about 3 or 4. Green would have to be in the top half dozen at least. If Hastings works out, our spine looks far more competitive.

Agree and sadly Api is no Matt Ballin.

He's a livewire, and enthusiastic I'll give him that BUT some of those passes of his are almost schoolboy like.

Compare him to say Peats or Granville , chalk and cheese.

Cameron Smith no comparison, he's probably the greatest of all modern day hookers.

They would have to go close to top 4 this year. Proctor is another solid signing with a high work rate. It will be interesting to see how Elgey and Taylor combine - two star young halves.
