That we have not beaten them in four years . They don't rate us I guess.

Yeh I can't believe that. The Eels are half our price to win the premiership, yet we are favourites to beat them this week after both coming off losses. I hope they are right though.

I didn't watch Penrith and Parra on the weekend so have no idea how they played. Given how they finished last season and our recent record against them I would have thought at best we would be even money. How did the great dreamer Jarhead Hayne go on the weekend - is he indeed the messiah ?

They're probably thinking we're due for a win.
It was a case of 2 halves last week . In the first half Parra came out and blew the panthers away and then In the Second half Parra was blown away by the Panthers and each half both teams were very dominant .
As for Hayne I didn't notice he was on the field.

It was as @BOZO said pretty much, I think Penrith were more composed they didn't panic at any stage, Maloney and Cleary worked well together, there already seems to be chemistry between them, this will be one of the better halves combinations.
It was a great battle of the forwards, Parra seemed to have their measure but the Riff weren't rattled and finished the stronger, Hayne was well contained. I record most games every round, This was an entertaining game, actually this first round overall is one of the best first rounds of football I've seen for a number of years.
Bring on round two
There forwards get tired as the game goes on and they start to stop moving up in defence. Same thing happened with them last year.
They have a great backline though that is capable I’ve getting through outs.
It will be a battle of better forwards vs better backs.
