All the players off contract in 2010 are pretty important, should hopefully resign all of them if it can be done. I can see Glenn Hall (unless he dramatically improves on his current form), Orford and Williams off this year. Maybe L'Estrange as we have a couple of good hookers in the Under 20s it seems, but I'd like to see him stick around.

The "retribution" for winning a Grand Final and the WCC is that some players will have to go with their inflated values not fitting into the salary cap....this pretty much happens in every side, part of the game, sad but part of the game.

But if we continue with the current form maybe they might have to drop their requests for increases and then they can all stay!!

True. Article is just another "look at all Manly's problems" piece. I really do hope they resign most of these players though, of course based on form at the time of their contracts nearing ends. Love the Wolfman though.

ha im not surprised, because i have been saying this for ages that come the end of 2010 we will fall back into the pack. We will probably go from a top 4 side to a top 8 side.
