But momentum shouldn't have even been an issue in this game. A team playing for a finals spot vs a team not even close to in the hunt.

It shouldn't have come down to anything more specific than that.

I said this in a thread a while back and got an absolute pasting from all and sundry but I am 100% behind you on this one. I love the guy, but geez when he gives away a penalty or a dropped ball, it's always at the most inopportune times.

They were playing rubbish anyway but I agree that it didn't help.But what annoys me about that penalty was that the player playing the ball must get to his feet before placing the ball on the ground and not use the ball to lever themselves off the ground

We were not at the races to be honest, giving up a 3rd soft try on half time changed things, they have something to hold onto and went on with it. Really disappointing effort in the second half.
