What's worth streaming on TV.

Last one...check out a bloke from up @globaleagle way, Steve Wallis. He does stealth camping videos that are always worth a look. I am always sure to enjoy a step 2 with Steve. Have a look...you'll see what I mean. lol

His YT channel is - Camping with Steve

Love Reacher! But hate having to wait a week for a new episode…

True. First three dropped at once here - now I think it's week to week.

Like the most recent series of SHORSEY - usually it was all at once but this season was week to week.

I've started Zero City on Netflix, done 3/6 episodes. A political thriller I guess is what it's label would be. My pea brain does have a lot of trouble following it and keeping up but I'm still into it.
Anything (mostly) with Robert De Niro in it is class.

They're making a big thing about it being de Niro's first time doing a TV series.

SHŌGUN
on Disney (FX)
9/10

Wonderfully shot. Wonderfully acted and amazing detail across every part.
Obviously based on the book, based on actual events.

Been waiting for the second series but they reckon it's going to be 2026.

I guy I know was in that. I asked him who he played and he said Asian man #378. lol True story!

Another feel goody thing on Apple TV is Shrinking with Jason Segal and Harrison Ford. It was co-created by Brett Goldstein, none other than Roy Kent!
He wrote some of the episodes as he does on Lasso. Interestingly he was hired as a writer on Ted Lasso before being asked to take on the role of Roy Kent.

Just started watching 'shrinking' today and think it's really good.
Surprised myself at the number of times I laughed.

Jason Segal, Harrison ford, Jessica Williams and the list goes on.

I thought it was on Apple (which it is) but the much smarter Mrs ge found it on amazon prime.

I read that the powers at be thought "The Recruit" was too much like "The Night Agent" and so cancelled The Recruit after it's second season.

Must admit - I liked the recruit with the main character having both comedic and dramatic moments which the night agent doesn't.

Actually I'm not really enjoying the 2nd season of the night agent at all. Though I don't know if my mind is protesting the cancellation of the recruit, or the storyline is more booooooring, or if once again we get 50mins of 'stuff' to cover one thing happening.

Adolescence. Netflix

All kinds of brilliant.

Four one hour episodes, all filmed in one continuous shot by Phil Barentini (who did the same on Boiling Point). Mind boggling the level of planning involved from all.

Great script by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne though, for mine, the fourth and final ep was the only weak link.

Stellar performances but none more astonishing than Owen Cooper who plays the boy at the centre of it all. My God that boy can act.

Harrowing. Highly, highly recommended
