What if we actually won it this year?

I know its highly unlikely and probably bad luck to even say it but what if?

What a testament to good coaching that would be.....

Des has to be a shoe in for coach of the year already given what he walked into but if he took us all the way I would say it would have to go down as the greatest comeback in living memory.

A few of the so called experts have mentioned the Dali but come on. Hes been the coach there for years and it's his roster and system that finished spooners last year. I call BS on him.

Thoughts?

I wouldn’t say it’s highly unlikely! Anything can happen, and we have shown already what we can do! As long as we head into the finals strong, we really can give it a good shot - it’s anyones on their day.

Agree with Des v Arthur. People forget Arthur was the one who drove Parra to the wooden spoon last year. I’ll be filthy if it goes to anyone else but Des!!!

I'm working on the assumption that I have to be in Sydney the second week of October for the celebrations week

It's up to our players to keep on improving and working as a team

I would love to win but... the last two weeks we have looked flat and against very average teams. This week will be a big test but our forwards need to run hard, offload and than bash in defence

We are in the top 4 and there is no turning back .

We are going all the way !!!

The title of this thread would have been laughable 5 months ago. To be even talking about a possible GF appearance, let alone a premiership, indicates how succeesful and above expectations this season has been, irrespective of results moving forward.
There is no-one better than Des in timing the run. I'm excited for what the next 6 weeks will bring.
We are in this up to our eyeballs and mark my words, we are as good a chance as anyone..
Go Manly!!!!!

Funny that you mention the Dali.
On one of the footy shows on Fox a week or two ago, when the coach of the year discussions were happening someone mentioned Des was the favourite as he’d taken us from 15th to 5th ( at the time).
Someone else piped up that the Dalai had taken Parra from 16th to 6th and Toovey piped up something like “but it’s taken six years to get there”.
