If Blair did say something about Brett's court case and made remarks about the incident then I think that definitely could have a bearing on the whole thing. You cant have players getting away with saying those kinds of things.

When Blair is suspended it will be because of the uppercut and brawls nothing to do with what he said. As mentioned the AFL incident was serious as it involved trash talking about fornicating with a players 'mother' which is 1 of only 2 topics sporting leagues stamp down on.
