This Seaeagles squad is full of Manly juniors Choc, Hoppa,Oldfield, Kingy, Lussick Mauro, DCE & Foz who bleed Maroon & White. The Stewarts are basically juniors as is Ballin & Matai. Buhrer only wanted to play for 1 team - Manly. Players from other clubs like Kite, Rose ,Wolf ,Joe , Robinson & Robbo play at 100% because of the Manly culture Des has bought to the table & Lyon loves the family feel the players have bonded over the last 3 years. Throw in tearaway T Rex who is now aggressive & proud of that Seaeagle pinned to his chest.
Why the extra wil to win?? - these guys are like brothers & this is very obvious watching them in the trenches when the going gets tough.
Regardless of the result these players will more than match any team with that special ingredient - they play for eachother.....

You are right MK. A strong culture is the key to success. These guys love playing together and they will bleed for Des. In my opinion Des will be alongside Bennet as the greatest coach of all time in ther next 15 years or so (if he coaches that long). Clearly his leadership skills are amongst the best in the game and he knows how to bring out the best in his players.
