The dogging of Cherry is off the mark.

He was robbed of a legit try by a ludicrously wrong video ref decision. He set up the play which probably should have led to Hoppa scoring had Snake directed the pass cleanly. His long kicking game kept them pinned in their right hand corner. Made a large number of tackles, plus several strips, some which unluckily ended up back in Penrith hands.

meh, he had an 80% game, rather now than in September.

only 22 or whatever. hes already better than Orford

I can't believe the criticism either. He wasn't far off a few things going his way and having a great game today. Would you have prefered his game or Luke Walsh's today?

Its a good sign I think. Most rookie halfbacks when things aren't going their way totally drop their bundle and try to make up for it with every touch and just keep digging themselves a bigger whole. But I thought DCE was still reasonably composed.

Maybe DCE was rattled because Burns called him a "f#cking p@@fter". Pretty nasty stuff, especially from a quality playmaker like Mr One Dimension....no wonder DCE was off his game.
