As if Hex is going to be in the run on side come round one next year. We haven't even finished signing players for 2017 yet. Hex will be a back up centre.

Has everyone forgotten Brad Parker? He played well when promoted to first grade and should be given first shot at a winger's spot. He can catch, is fast and can tackle. Plus he is a local.
Now I know that there seems to be a philosophy among our recruitment team that no local is as good as an import. It has seriously dented our team moral in the past two seasons, and unfortunately that recruitment policy is only getting worse.

He's not a winger though and has his own problems with the high ball. All the tries he scored showed he was a centre.

If that's the case he has done brilliantly as a back up winger - better than anyone else I can think of in recent times thrown onto the wing out of position.

Hoping we keep him around to see how he develops.
