Why not give oldfield a start he did well in the trial game against the warriors a few weeks ago.

I hope foran is at 5/8, I'm sure that's where he's trained all off season.

Maybe Oldfield and Williams in the centre's and Wolfie on the wing? NOT ideal but not much option, Glen Stewart is NOT a 5/8 and not the player that should start along side a rookie 1/2.

I rate him as having a better skillset but lesser in athletic prowess

Yes!! - heard the same thing earlier - would still promote Oldfield to combat the speedy Rooters backline plus he done nothing wrong late last season. I remember vs St G we made 2 linebreaks only - both Oldfield.
