On the subject of the media whinging the backpage headline of the Brisvegas Courier Mail was "Bat Man Robs Broncos". haha

The worst was Saturday morning when there was a snippet about the Test "Thank god the Blues players didn't get in the way of the Maroons winning the Test last night and whose players scored all the points".
There was a  guy at the Caxton after the game screaming "Queenslander" who clearly proved that there should be some form mandatory birth control up there 🙂

Had to laugh watching the post match show after the game last night

Freeman is a massive critic of the 2 ref system, and Pearce, Tallis, Daley and Alexander pointed out some issues they have with it as well.
That set poor little Warren Smith off, and he set about ranting for the next 5-10mins about how great it is, while the other blokes pointed out he was 1 of the biggest pushers for 2 refs so of course he will back it

He was the main pusher of it at the start. AFAIK he is a former ref, not at a top level obviously.

But anyway he was one of the main people who got the push going in the media AFAIK
