Perenarra absolutely butchered us tonight!! The inconsistency of refereeing continues to blight the game. Manly cut their own throats tonight in s big way but we were never given a chance by him. Their 2nd try has a huge question mark on it and the calls that went against us when we had the ball and their consistent offside which we were pinged for all the time, it is a shame that we lost but I loved our bravery as we had to withstand so much. Bring on round 26 as we will bury them at Brooky!!!

I believe the explanation for DWZ taking the ball out of Blakes hands while being in front of him and being let go. Seems rightfully astounding, until you understand that Todd and co have decided to implement some of the attacking rules from the NFL. Just to accomodate Hayne and hopefully get some press over in the USA.

A while ago I used to think he was one of the better refs. Then over the last few Manly games he has being getting worse and worse in his bais against us.

He's terrible and I would be making an official complaint if I were Manly (even though that does nothing.)

All refs have to say (and he did to dce) is "I am calling them as I see them."

the trouble is....if he has already decided that every ball penrith drop is a strip from Manly....then he calls penalties.

It was a dead set stitch up of the highest order last night.

when you see Tom lying as flat as a worm outside the ruck and the penrith player throws the ball into him...and penrith still get a penalty....you know the fix is in (that and 100 other cheating instances.)

Gotta keep the western bogans interested or apparently everyone will run and support soccer and the afl immediately.

Anyone else notice live our 10 was closer to 12 most of the night there's was about 8 and they stood offside all night. On top of the penalty count we got almost none of the 50/50 calls.

They want to look into match fixing, they need to start with the ref's who are the easiest target with the greatest influence over the outcome of games.
