We monitor the cap very carefully

In the Sun-Herald this morning Gallop asserts that the NRL "monitors the cap very carefully".  What a lying muppet.  How can he assert this when the Storm's cap cheating was exposed by a disgruntled club insider.  Shubert and his bunch of lazy auditors had no idea before the insider spilled the beans.  The two books system of cheating was not picked up by those idiots.  The article goes on to say that there's more clubs cheating.  Surely this is so.  Just look at some of the rosters of clubs like the Dogs and Rorters.  The Commission must bring in a player points system and enforce it properly with outside auditors.

They will never find the salary cap cheats themselves unless the NRL employs outside auditors with the authority to look at players bank accounts, tax returns and search for assets through for assets which might be purchased with cash.

Probably his usual playing politics. Saying they don't need him in case the vote goes against him, but instead of clever politics he trappen himself in a corner again.

They do monitor whats happening inside the cap very closely. That is a fact.

It is what happens illegally outside the cap that they dont have a clue about.
