How good was Anthony Watmough's game yesterday? Big hits and great clean up work in defence, and lots of metres in attack. And best of all - no mistakes.
There were a lot of good backrowers out there yesterday (BK, Beaver, Waterhouse, Puletua), but Watmough was probably the best on the field. Hope he keeps it up. I'd like to see him crack Origin again one of these days. The one game and limited time he got didn't do him justice.

I agree. The most pleasing aspect of the win was the very few dropped balls etc from the guys. I was concerned when Hicks spilled the ball early but he made up for that with an otherwise reasonable game. I don't want this to get into a Hicks moan but I felt he bombed a try by not just running straight at the line in the second half. He propped and came back infield. Should have backed himself. He seems to lack confidence at times.

Choc got the League Unlimited Man of the match but didn't even get a point in the Dally Ms. Went to Stewart 3 and Monaghan 1.
