I wonder if Choc been carrying this "chronic neck problem" for a while, i.e. pre-2012, and is this something that he will have to contend with for the rest of his career?

Tough guy, yes. Worth his pay cheque, certainly. But this will almost certainly shorten his playing days if it's on-going problem. And just think about how his neck will be pulling up when he's 50.

I think most former players, when they hit middle age, must be on pain killers in their later years...
