You said there were none,I gave you 1 decent player.Thats all I needed to debunk your argument.Didnt know I had to do a whole thesis on available players that could take Green's place1 decent player who we have no hope of signing and doesn't play Green's position. Who else?
Why is Cronk such an impossible dream. I think if he decides to play one more year that we have the best chance of any team to attract him.1 decent player who we have no hope of signing and doesn't play Green's position. Who else?
My point stands. Until Cronk confirms he is going around again then there are no quality halves off contract next year. And none better than Green. You said there were none,I gave you 1 decent player.Thats all I needed to debunk your argument.Didnt know I had to do a whole thesis on available players that could take Green's place
MoylanMy point stands. Until Cronk confirms he is going around again then there are no quality halves off contract next year. And none better than Green.
Anyone hoping for any big name signings for next year are dreaming. All the big names are sewn up.
If Green goes I hope Baz isnt stupid enough to attempt another running 5/8 experiment in Moylan, if that happens I honestly dont see a top 8 position for us next year.I get the feeling this has some merit to it.

There is obviously some heavy interest from the warriors.
Manly chairman Scott Penn refuses to guarantee the long-term future of five-eighth Blake Green
MANLY chairman Scott Penn has refused to guarantee the long-term future of star five-eighth Blake Green amid interest from rival NRL teams, including the New Zealand Warriors.
Green isn’t off-contract until the end of 2018, but the Warriors have expressed a desire to sign him as a replacement for Bulldogs-bound half Kieran Foran.
Penn said the former Melbourne playmaker will be at Manly next season to honour the final season of his two-year deal, but he couldn’t confirm his status beyond 2018.
“Certainly at this stage, but things can change and you can’t rule anything out,” Penn told The Saturday Telegraph.
“If the Warriors went and gave him a four-year deal on big money then that is a whole other world.
“We are always focused on the person and what they want to do long-term.
“If there was an offer that we couldn’t compete with, that would be a different story, but right now he is very much a part of our 2018 plans and we don’t see him going anywhere.”
Green has been a revelation for Manly this season since moving across from Melbourne.
The Fairfield-born playmaker has starred in 23 games to help the Sea Eagles return to the finals after a two-year hiatus.
Penn says Green has contributed greatly to Manly’s success this season. The Sea Eagles will look to continue their impressive year with victory over Penrith in Saturday’s Elimination final at Allianz Stadium.
“We are very happy with Blake and the way he has fitted into the squad,” he said.
“He has shown some great leadership qualities that we are thankful for.
“In terms of his long-term future, I’ll leave that in the hands of the retention and recruitment committee.
“But he is definitely on contract next year and I’m sure we will be talking about the future.”
I'd have to agree, starting to look more likely that Moylan might be here next season.Sounds like he is on the out
thankyou! someone else sees it.. me and my mrs have been saying it for years and people will be like yeah nahTrent's eyes remind me of the demons in Supernatural ... apart from that I'd happily take him if fit
Did he lay on one good kick tonight? Not a single repeat set and on top of that last try embarrassing try defence effort... meh!, not reliable enough when we really need him.Yep. He was doin those stupid 3rd tackle kicks earlier in the year .gave me the sh. ts .he had a couple of decent games with grubbers and some 40/20's for sure. But add in his defence on top and his age. Its a no brainer, let him go get a better deal if the warriors want him.
