That play to attack the bomb was a travesty last night. We’d worked the ball out of yardage and DCE put in a perfect kick to chew up a bit of time on the sin bin clock. We got up in the Warriors faces and reduced their yards and made them kick from their own half. The Metcalfe bomb was poor and no Warriors players were interested in contesting it. It landed 35-40 metres from our line and this hero comes running in like an AFL forward and jumps over himself to take the catch and fluffs it.

All that effort from the team for nothing. He should never be sighted in FG again.

It was bad but the grand final of dumb plays was hotly contested last night. Not sure this should be offered up as an automatic winner.

We had lots of moments to control the game and for many reasons came up short

Fortunately, I missed this game , we collected a new caravan yesterday afternoon then got stuck in a traffic jam due to an accident , didn’t get home until 6.30pm our time ( the game was over ).

Having not seen it I can’t make any comments other than , Turbo , here we go again !!

1 game , then what , 2 months off , love the fella , what a star , but I think this is life with Tom , playing maybe 50% of each season , if guy are lucky

Saab lost control, pure and simple, but DCE's was inconclusive, you really couldn;t see if Garrick's foot touched the line or not, and as the referee called it a try, it was hard to call it back, just one of those things that can happen.

The last camera angle of Garricks foot showed it was just inside the line.

This season could have been anything, and I guess it still could be but man how deflating to crash back to reality so quick. I had imagined we would win this, and then all our upcoming home games and savour being contenders for a bit before lapsing to our usual ****. Super depressing.

I don’t think Penrith will be the only team to lose to the Rorters if their forwards play with that intensity and energy each week, those young forwards did a job on a very good Panthers pack.

Very disappointing & extremely frustrating game to watch!

Spreading it wide from inside our own 20/30 every play & thinking it’s some new, revolutionary way to play the game is just ridiculous.

It’s just lazy play & disrespectful of the opposition, who outmuscled us in the middle & got on a roll on that we never looked close to disrupting.

I hope last night snaps them out of always going for the highlight reel plays instead of knuckling down & earning the right to those plays with grunt work up the middle.

I wonder if the long range try in the opening five minutes was the worst thing that could happen to us. It certainly looked like we played with no respect for possession from that point on.

I don't think it's season over after this loss, any more than we were destined for the premiership after last week's win. The injuries are a concern but we will have to wait and see how that goes.

Do yourself a favour Mark, don't watch the replay - extremely dissapointed with the team that put on the jersey last night. Garrick one of the few that showed real grit and wasn't owned, maybe Saab too.

Mate I don’t know anymore. Paseka, TKO, Olakau’atu, Aloiai, Sips, Bully & Jake need some young backup muscle. Brbo, Jazz, Waddell need to go & bring in some young mongrel. Patolo, Sykes for a start. Talau & Brown need to come back. We are so lacking in a back row partner for Olakau’atu. Brbo & Waddell are not the answer. Mate I’d be even giving MCC a crack!

very frustrating. That said last night if our execution was more on point we should have blown the game apart early and been up 18 or 20 nil. From there the Wahs probably dont get near us. The issue still remains tho around how we respond when a game is close and in the grind. Last night another example of our inability to compete when facing a bit of adversity.

I dunno, I think our main problem was that none of our forwards seemed to be going forward consistently. There was the occasional direct hit up from Aloiai & Paseka, but nothing like how we played last week.

I thought Burbo played well, his defence is pretty good, he was who caught RTS(or was it CNK?) in goal for our repeat set & I notice he’s been hitting & sticking pretty hard in one on one tackles.

The Wahs absolutely cruelled us with the speed of their ruck, we were on the back foot all game & while I thought some of the 6 again calls were a tad gratuitous, they had the ascendency over us from early in the game.
