This is really poor. Thought they could just turn up and win.

Turbo not focused and needs to run. Way too many errors. Need to move hoppa to fullback and turbo to centre for the rest of the game

Like I said before the game, this had "ambush" written all over it. The ref certainly got the script, manufacturing six again calls for the Warriors on the fourth or fifth tackle of almost every set. Combine that with our stupid mistakes and it's not going to end well.

As good as we can look with the ball, our biggest issue remains: we just cannot play without the ball. Even against the Cowboys you could see it. We give up easy metres, never look to have a plan, and it always feels like we're scrambling.

Fingers crossed we find a way to show something in the second half.

Looks like cronk was right
While he tipped us joey also said in his tips if there was going to be upset this weekend it was going to be the warriors.
It shows tonight where we really sit as a team tonight we just don't like the grind.

When the side to side ball spread doesn’t work we look really lost. They worked it out right after that really easy first try and we just cannot adapt when it doesn’t work. Hoping our passing but more importantly our horrific discipline fixes up in the second 40, not feeling confident though
The problem is not the attack. The Warriors haven’t worked anything out. We’ve given away penalties, drop balls and 7 six agains. That means we are gassed. The Warriors are fresh and are winning the ruck. They’ve got all the energy to get up and smash us. We are not going to be able to make an impact with the ball, when we’ve done so much tackling.

Only the second game, but it has the same feel as any of the last few Seibold years.Cant grind out a game, soft 6 agains(mind you, most 6 agains are soft)brittle defence on both edges and they try to solve their problems by throwing it wide

nope. Can’t see it happening unless the ref gets told he’s reffing just one side and not the other. Get an even share of possessions and we’ve shown we can score. Sadly our defence is big average.

The complacency is right through the team tonight.

We have at no stage earned the right to continuously go wide and fundamental errors are killing us.

The six again farce is a joke when one side is policed!!

Voss said, "I never death ride Manly" I cringe at his balanced commentary, very irritating!!

Let's see what character this team has!!

We are playing terribly, but need to give credit to their front row. JFH, Barnett and Egan are dominating.

JFH leads their defensive line speed, which is why he is the best front rower in the game (imo).

Tbf… players regripping in tackles, not getting on side and holding the tackled player down is not the ref’s fault…

Not saying I agree with EVERY 6-again so far but there have been plenty that were obvious…

So far we are reaping the rewards of not valuing ball possession in those first 20min… dumb Hail Marys and some poor choices (eg. Fualalo scores if Hoppa just passes instead of kicking)

This 7 nil 6 agains is criminal and worse still they are offside and allowed to hang on in defence 3 seconds after being told release...but Manly have listened to the hype after last week and need a rocket
Teams like Penrith and Melbourne get tough in these games, not rip like wet paper....wake up 2nd stanza please
