Haha yeah mate until confirmation he’s no longer a Sea Eagle I’ll barrack for him. Once a Manly player, whether retired or left to go to another club, I always remember them as a Sea Eagle.

Out of contract so not being paid. No one will sign him if he doesn't have the jab so Manly is saving money holding off signing him. Probably around $30K a month.

Agree he has shown flashes of talent and occasional brilliance in his time with us, but has he ever been fully focused on footy? There's always a distraction with Dylan, and overall I'm not convinced his upside has more value than his downside.
But Des and the club will sort it out. I really liked what he brought to the team as a utility at the end of last season and if he can do that, regularly, I'm happy for him to stay a Sea Eagle. But if he thinks his future lies elsewhere, I'm equally happy to see him go. Good luck to him either way.

Just heard on the news that players who haven’t had the vaccination will be unable to play games in QLD or VIC.
So he’d be I able to play in 3 of our games.
Wonder if he’s prepared to take a cut in salary to compensate ??

Yes Will did that but I noted pretty soon after he was playing on Sundays anyways , so I reckon his club may have said “ you wanna play footy or sing hymns ??”.

To say his impact off the bench this year is good, is incredibly shortsighted. Obviously bringing a centre on as a forward might earn you an extra line break, but we concede massively in defence. His contribution is quite frankly crap.
To top it off, he’s not getting vaccinated. We are not playing for this ungrateful idiot to play once every 5 games. Walker please f**k off from this club.
