Both times Brett Stewart was out injured as he is tonight.

That win in 2009 was a particularly proud one though Melbourne nearly stole it at the death.

The 2010 game was bull****. We raced to a 16-0 lead before the refs helped the Storm back into the game. There were several dubious calls that went against us but none stood out more than Matai getting penalized for knocking over a Melbourne player as a result of being shoved in the back by another Melbourne player when he was chasing the ball. Watmough also legitimately won us possession in one play the ball but possession was inexplicably given back to Melbourne.

IIRC Smith knocked on from dummy half 3 times in that match. It was justice really as we were robbed of a 13+ victory.

I loved the 2010 one we were the last team that played them before the truth came out about the 2 sets of books. There were about 40 of us upstairs at the leagues club it was great.
