Today we learn of the passing of Keith Barnes (Golden Boots).
Born in Wales, emigrated to Australia and was one of the greatest fullbacks who played the game. A Balmain Tigers legend and leading point scorer, prolific goal kicker who won so many games for the Tigers.
Outstanding work as a commentator on the game, especially the mid week cup games through the 70s and 80s.
Went on to become a leading administrator in the game and will never be forgotten!
