For anyone who was in their prime in the great 80s pub band culture would have seen Mental as Anything and great frontman Greedy Smith who tragically passed away last night aged 63.
I 1st saw these blokes at Parra leagues of all places and many venues since.
They were my favourite band of the time.
Another icon of Oz rock gone.
RIP Greedy.
Way too young...IMG_20191203_131347.jpg

Saw them many times, But my favourite memory of Greedy was one Sunday night at Castle Hill RSL. I’d managed to sneak on the stage and instead of him kicking me off. He let me sing the chorus of ‘Live it up’ with him. The bouncers got me eventually, but I’ll never forget it, or Greedy. One of the best frontman going. Too sad.

Lol.
That's gold
I saw them there myself.
And Dragon. During that concert a blue erupted among the punters and Marc Hunter stopped mid song and said
If you f*ckheads don't cut it out I'll get the rest of the crowd to beat the sh*t out of you.
Those times were the best.
We were lucky...
