V’Landys Airlines

Having been involved in this industry the costs of moving a team from say Sydney to Townsville , accomodating them for 3 nights is enormous, as this might sound it could actually work!!

If they are going to buy a jet now is the time, plenty of them unused costing airlines plenty of money at the moment.

Borrow one of uncle Nicks. Sure he has 40 or so.

edit: I may add, they are damn expensive (not that that should surprise anyone).

Especially one big enough to transport an NRL team and support staff around , circa 40 million I’d reckon.

BUT in all seriousness the NRL travel budget would be 10-20 million per annum.

Greenberg must be kicking himself, he didnt buy a plane and painted his head on it

Integrity airlines ,

"Intoddgrity airlines"

"Grounding planes like grounding the nrl's future since todd's was made ceo"

Taking all your money then getting you nowhere - like Todd when he quit the nrl

etc

A used Q400 for around $20M would do the job perfectly. Probably even cheaper right now.

But we all know the old adage: "If it flies, floats or f--ks...rent it.

Good choice for Interstate , not a Jet but much cheaper to run and almost as fast.

I think the only issue is range , wouldn’t get to NZ I think and would need a fuel stop if playing in Perth.

The Boeing 717’s being used by Alliance ( which they are using ) would do the job.
