Not even close. There are ****ing galaxies between the thrashing we got at Shark Park in 2005 and the next worst. I forked out decent dosh for the heritage jersey dedicated to that round and could never look at it the same after that match.

We had 9 wins and only 3 losses after 12 games in that season as well, which made that loss even harder to stomach.

It was a garbage performance for sure. Say what you want about Lewis brown but he was the only bloke out there who was playing with enthusiasm at the end.

This game, and last weeks one meant so much for us. Had we taken them seriously and thumped em both the way we should have we'd be sitting in 4th right now. However, the unforgivably piss-poor effort over these weeks (particularly today) have put us in a position where we can miss the 8 if it continues. AHH, ****ing frustrating

I'd actually call it Un-Manly like, tbh. That's the biggest worry. We've had teams with half that talent, but tried twice as hard. Strange.

Maybe not the worst, but would be in the top ten. That loss under Tooves reign, that had overtones of match fixing against Parramatta would be up there along with a big thrashing from Penrith about 12 years ago.

Yes been beaten by more
Thing for me is the desire...or lack of....ppl can disagree and say there's been worse and maybe so...my point is , we had a team with plenty to play for and more talent than other bad losses...that's what cuts me up.

alright, the only way forward is to think of our less worst performances, really the 50 point touch up against the Dragqueens wasn't so bad.

That game was a shocker
But Illawarra scored off 4 kicks and an intercept....hate that mob but they played as good as they possibly could.....the Dogs today were ordinary at best and still smacked us - that's the difference.

Agree.

In fact, the Dogs have been so deplorable this year that even behind at half time (and disgusted with our first half performance), I still had a feeling we would get over the line because the Dogs are so bad. That second half just shook me to another level.
