Been reading a couple of posts at mse one from a jamesie backed up by a guy called Haig who is of the oppinion that Willow will start at hooker with Dunley to bench and that Cuthbo will take Burn's spot on the bench, which does not mean much unless it happens of course. I suppose what I am saying is perhaps we should hold off the lynch mob until the team runs out on Saturday. Throwing Ballin to the Cowboys in their present form may (and may not as well) cause more harm than good, imo it would be better to start him on home turf against a weaker opponent

hmmm i dunno about that... him defending in the centres will prolly mean if they put up a bomb he won't be there... i dunno about his catching ability.. it seems to be alright but he at least has a height advantage on a lot of opposition wingers... so i'd like to see him out there

I can't see why this wasn't done against the Raiders. Along with Cuthbertson, Ballin was the most in-form player of the trials and is really the only specialist starting hooker we have of top grade ability. Dunley might be a specialist, but he's best coming off the bench and making an impact. If there was to be only one change to be made in the next 10 games (remembering that Hasler is risk-averse 😉), it should be Ballin to starting hooker, Dunley to the bench and Burns back to reggies.

At the moment, everything else could be considered solid. However, others pushing for their spot would have to be Williamson and Matai. To solve that one, we could easily have Williamson to the centres and Cuthbertson to the bench. How awesome would this bench be:

14: Dunley
15: Cuthbertson
16: Leuluai
17: Bryant/Rose (depending if Bryant takes King's starting spot or not 😛)
