I lost count of the forward passes from that annoying little germ Mahoney from dummy half,chuck in a few extra guy in putting hands on top to hold down that was let go was frustrating.
Even my 5 year old was calling them out.

The one in the Dogs ingoal was one of them, or doesn't it count in the ingoal.

Certain criticisms seem to appear from time to time regarding members of this backline. Especially aimed at Turbo, Koula, Garrick and DCE. My opinion. This is the best backline Manly has been graced with since 2012 and maybe potentially better. Every one of the seven, Trbojevic, Hopoate, Garrick, Koula, Talau, Brooks, DCE and Saab are top shelf players. This is one occasion over the past decade where the recruitment people have got it right. Potentially in a year or two, depending upon DCE's longevity, they could the best in the game. Top class group and supported by a tough and talented forward line up. Next year, barring injuries, could see them go even better.

Manly has been criticised for giving up leads a few times this year, but the side has also come back to win after trailing several times.
Resilience definitely on display yesterday.

I said to a work mate 2 weeks ago the dogs have no chance.... They threw a party at Belmore 2 weeks ago, players on the turntables etc, celebrating as if they had won the Grand final... Just for making the finals..... Showed then that they are just happy to be there.. that mentality won't win you a finals match.. they were the better team for most of the game, had all the calls their way, all the stats in their favour, and lost...

Game was reffed perfectly for what the Dogs needed, so we did very well to dig in and climb out at the end

They were allowed to flop in late and go to sleep in the ruck for 80mins, completely stifling our up tempo game and wide early shifts that would have given them trouble. I nearly combusted in the 2nd half when we got pinged for holding down
