Two defining facts

Fact 1 -This was the very first game these guys have ever played together.
Fact 2 -It takes matches played ,to get match fit .(If the players are saying they are the fittest they have ever been ,maybe we could believe them)

I agree. That should've clicked for me as well, but history shows I'm not the sharpest tool in the tipping comp shed.

Tom T tried hard. However, a couple of times he tried 'Snake' type moves which didn't come off. A great player in the making that needs to concentrate on building his game, before trying to emulate one of the best ballplaying fullbacks ever.

Agreed. He'll improve quickly but he was throwing some passes to teammates as if they were 10 feet tall
