This is not a credible report. Who makes an offer then reduces it after it's been agreed.
The usual method is start low and work high (from the club) and vice versa from the player.

I've been saying for six months the narrative from DCE and his media-fanboys isn't true to the matter.

They've argued that the "offer" only came just before he went to air, which is a load of garbage.

I know much more, but I'll let this clown from the SMH play his own version of hangman.

Yes, their is fault in some aspects, on both sides however the club is an easier target than the player.

Does anyone think Turbo's career trajectory is pretty identical to Mark Gasnier.
Gasnier had pretty much the same hype but like Turbo was pretty injury prone.
A lot of expectation, great at rep footy. Faced the same scrutiny.
Same build, same style of game and won a premiership when surrounded by a stacked roster and a great coach.
Both are great players plagued by injuries.

750k is on the mark imo. Tommy’s fitness issues and already had his big pay days with Manly, the pursuit of a premiership win should be enough to sign at that amount.

I don’t blame the club for trying to sign him for this amount. About time we started to play hard ball with the agents after rolling over for so many years.

2027 onwards puts us in a great position salary cap wise.

Honestly he doesn’t deserve much more. You can’t take a pay cut for injuries from your current contract when renegotiating if your form doesn’t warrant the money you are already on. Problem with turbo is he thinks his value is based on his 2021 peak.
