Turbo running style

Mate you seem to be the expert on immortals... is this something i missed?

Hi mate, I was talking to a woman who knows people in the know and apparently they have changed Turbo's running gate so he doesn't place too much pressure on the hammies. So if you've noticed a difference it's because he's been retrained.
It was also reported that he had a bad "stride" when he went to step which is when he had all his issues. He has definitely been working on his technique but I must say I didn't actually notice. I just hope they have finally figured it out.

I thought I saw something different but put it down to my imagination.

It was in his initial push off for a run, where he seemed to take two or three strides before going for pace; that was certainly there and hopefully now protected by a reduction in initial impact on the muscles.

I didn't see much difference in his running. The thing for me is that he backed himself from the get-go with his running. He wasn't looking for a winger to take a kick return and was popping up wherever he could in the line. He backed himself against Brimson and won, and his 50 metre run to set up Saab showed confidence in his hamstrings.

Seriously, how good is it finally having speed to burn in the back 3??

Thanks for the info @qldeagle. Anyone want to guess which day a journo runs this story about Turbo's retrained running style as their scoop from 'a reliable source'? 🙂

Shut the gate, his gait's been changed!

I didn't really notice... but I did notice when watching the highlights that after he scored his try, making it 16-0, the titans wingers slid heavily into him, deliberately late.

😡

I thought that usual b/s of nailing the guy who just scored a try went out in the 90's (or when slater the cat retired).

Go.... go watch now then return and shower me with praise!

(I said praise ya perverts!)

I Was taught to accelerate by taking small steps initially and let yourself increase stride as you gain speed.
A big first stride is slow.
