GE,

Sounds good to me, the snow won’t be running off the mountain at that temp, mind you it could be a bit crispy in the morning, just make sure your edges are sharp.

ohhh love pre-season training and being on the hands and knees barfing.... oh the memories. The good old days of road runs on road runs - hill runs and set after set of 400 metre sprints then a million shuttle runs - followed by tackling drills on the tackle cylinders - up - back the 10 - up - back the ten from one length of the field to the other.
I'm buggered after reading that, 'night all

Plenty of Tom in the latest release.

He looks in great shape as well! Whilst plenty are nervous about his potential for injury, he’s had an entire off season to get himself right which he wouldn’t have had for some years.

Having the entire off season to prepare the entire squad for the faster paced game will be massive. The power game they trained for last off season was obsolete after two rounds.

Some sides adapted well , others didn’t , we were well and truly in the others camp!!
Injuries and a lack of quality depth certainly didn't help our cause either. Having Manase out for the entire season was huge. Especially after the way he dominated in the finals the year before.

Add Turbo, Walker and a host of other top liners to the list and most teams would have likely crumbled. The perfect storm is what I call last season.

Playing some pretty negative footy did not help either at various stages, even allowing for the obvious setbacks . Again look at the Warriors and all of their challenges , still were generally able to put together some pretty spirited and effective efforts Maybe the input of Steve Hayles can get a lot more in attack to happen , with the oversight and still hopeful shrewd coaching from Des that he still ideally has . Defence is still the key for me , just has to be tightened all over the paddock , that is the foundation of getting to the business end of a season . Better run with injuries is surely overdue and the makings of a real good side but plenty of work and adjustments needed all round to get back to that really competitive level
