Turbo good to go

Still a great effort even when banged up as much as he was

I agree. Last time I checked he had a Grade 3 ACL injury which is actually no laughing matter. First Kangaroos game is 28 October, I mean really? He needs to rest and recuperate or could risk that becoming worse. I think he must actually enjoy those painkillers!

So Turbo looking to play for the Kangaroos. Is this taking the piss or what. The guy needs to get that shoulder 100% by next season not swatting around with the tests. Fair dinkum time to get priorities right Turbo.

About the same chance as me and you being the wingers @mickqld

I am a big fan of Turbo however Teddy's game on Saturday Night was phenomenal. It gives me hope that Turbo can still play at a high level in five years time. Obviously the issue for Turbo is he can't seem to perform at his best for more than 5 games in a row before another injury hits him.

Teddy was phenomenal however highlighting the fact that he comprehensively outplayed Turbo who was less than 50% fit was a tad harsh.

If anyone thinks Turbo is going to/will ever get back to his 2021 days they are delusional. He has lost his pace which i don't think he will ever regain, he has lost his willingness for a collision/application in defence and his attacking prowess is minimal. The thing he still does extremely well is being in position when breaks occur. I haven't seen him out pace, run around people out wide for god knows how long. Basically he has lost his mojo and it ain't comin' back.

Now having said that he is is better than some fullbacks going around but simply isn't in the stratosphere of the top 5 or so fullbacks and he most certainly ain't a 1+ million dollar fullback at this point in time.

He will never regain the speed and desire to be that dude he once was - it's gone so we all need to move on and come to peace with it. When's Ponga off contract lol

Agree, i guess in the afterglow of a big loss it's easy to berate and criticize the team, especially our go to man, Tommy. Just a shame Tom wasn't 100%, the score would of been a lot closer, who knows, we could have won it.

Thankyou Dr Clifford Freud.

What have you prescribed? Or does your Hippocratic oath prevent you from divulging that information.

I don't think Turbo is a spent force. He managed 17 tries from 20 games in the regular season, which is pretty impressive. There were signs that he had regained his speed and was playing close to 21' form until the knee took a knock in rd. 26 against the Dogs. That seemed to hamper his speed. The focus was very much on his shoulder but it looked to me like the knee was just as bad.
