They need to do more to promote these little interclub contests. Is there a reason Fox couldn't have done a little pregame story on this guy ?? I'd rather hear about this then listen to Cronk try to babble on about how one team has stripped another team.
What other trophies do we contest ?? I know we play Cronulla for the Steve Rogers trophy. Why not a little segment on Sludge before the game for example. I seem to recall our game against the Roosters has silverware on the line too. I'm sure all the other 16 clubs have these rivalries that are formalised with a shield or trophy. I think the NRL could do more to promote these historical or tribal aspects of the game. Wouldn't take much for them to incorporate it into the coverage

Yeah, fox, the NRL, and also Manly? I don't recall seeing anything on the club site about it.

Never knew we were playing for anything until after the siren at the game. It’s a disgrace really and tokenistic unless Tge properly acknowledge it pregame and it gets airtime.
