Here are his NSW Cup stats this year which look excellent:

He has had three NRL games this year, two of which had decent minutes, one of which was good, and that was against us in Round 3.

Playing at lock vs us:

44 mins
114m, 46 PCM
33 Tackles, 2 misses
4 tackle breaks
4 offloads

Mind you, this was in a terrible Raiders performance as well.

I don't see anyone else of value who could replace the retiring Aloiai. Hence, we should be doing everything to get this guy. We have at least $500k. I doubt the competition for signing him are willing to give him much, or need him as much as we do.

Been talking up Mooney for a while, good player just been blocked.

Reminds me of how Iro played too much reserve grade being blocked at the Sharks...get him in.

Trey has loads of talent and is a strong competitor and leader (in junior teams). I think he’d perfect. He is mobile and can generate second phase play too. I know he played edge for a long time as a junior too.

I was keen for Manly to pursue Mooney in his last thread. Even better reason to chase him now!

I wouldn't mind raiding some more Raiders while we're at it.

Give Fogarty some mates from the Capital. Simi Sasagi, Anyone from their Backline.. Even Jed Stuart looks the goods! I don't see a spot for Albert Hoppa to return to brookie but, the Green Machine have plenty of depth that would make the starting team elsewhere

Yep he's one player we need. I would of been happy with Garner as well but he has decided to stay at the Panthers. We need a young agressive prop who can play big minutes like T May and N White.
