There is one big difference between Toovey's outburst and that of Henry and Thurston. The NRL have admitted the referees were wrong this time. They backed the referees in Gosford when Tooves blew up.

2V had warned the NRL that if they dont find a solution to the refs fiasco it will eventually bite them in the ass and it did.

Funny how the NRL decided to suspend the fine when they knew we had 2 games at Brookie to collect the money.

Now there's no more home games they re-instate the fine. Bastards. They knew it would make a great Manly story for the fans to pay the fine.

Is there any collection on Saturday? Surely people would still want to contribute.

If Tooves is fined then surely the Cowboys have to be be. However I doubt it. As Bones said the NRL will use the excuse that the refs in our game never stuffed up, in the Cowboys game they did. Therefore the Cowboys can whinge without punishment.

Seriously, there needs to be an investigation into Greenturd. How on earth are Thurston and Henry allowed to insinuate that there is a NSW bias against the Cows which brings the game totally into disrepute against Toovey and Stuart fined heavily for saying things as they are.

Thurston MUST be fined 10K as his comments went way to far.

Oh and by the way Greenturd, you are a blight on the game and you can just F!!!!k off and let someone run the game who is fair to all clubs.

The club owners should speak up against these NRL clowns. They are the ones putting up the cash to keep the clubs afloat. Why are they so silent with the trashing of their brands? Where's Peter Peters when you need him? And aren't the clubs represented on the Commission? Surely if the owners get together and demand the sacking of G-Turd, then it would happen.

NRL Head of Football, Mr Todd Greenberg, has reviewed comments by Johnathan Thurston and determined that no action will be taken against the Cowboys player.

“There is a distinct difference between the comments themselves and some of the interpretations placed on of those comments,” Mr Greenberg said.

“At no stage was there a reference to the integrity of the officials.

“I have spoken with both Johnathan and Cowboys CEO Peter Jourdain, who have each given an assurance that the comments were not directed at the administration or the officials.

“We have also fully reviewed the comments by Neil Henry and do not believe that they contravened the policy.

“The policy allows for coaches to express their disappointment at decisions and we respect that right.

“What does cause an issue is when a coach or player questions the integrity of an official or engages in ridicule or excessive criticism.”

Unfortunately Mr Zapruder passed away in 1970. I'm sure if he was still alive, he might have caught a gentleman who looked suspiciously like Todd Greenberg, standing on a grassy knoll overlooking Allianz Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The only thing I've been able to figure out about the NRL this year is they're focused on a Souths premiership win. Anyone who stands in the way of that gets clobbered. Toovey questioned rightfully got clobbered. Our coach put it in writing never got a reply. Go figure. I'd rather see you guys win than those grubs Souths getting free piggybacks all the way to the trophy but this is the way they want it.
