Not sure about his maternal grandfather, but Charlie Stains’ paternal grandfather was a station hand. He worked with my Dad for many year on the grazing property I grew up on out at Forbes. Went to school with Charlie’s dad.

So you reckon the club didn't table an offer for Talau. The Talau saga gets stranger by the day.

Why the club resigned Saab, makes no sense. Saab only has speed, not good at rolling his arms up for a run, can't defend and makes too many basic errors and the club liked that to give him an extension. Talau should have been prioritised over Saab, and that my friends is how poorly this club has been running under the Penns.

The use of "not on the the table" can be taken in so many different ways.

I like him as a player and with no knowledge I would have to guess it is the one position we are overstocked with and could potentially save some $.

Not sure Scott would know Saab if he ran into him - would probably think you are referring to a Saab 900. Surely it’s Seibs/Mestrov making these calls.

Saab's ceiling is much higher than Talau's. He needs to get some confidence back.
