Tom looked pretty good and Cade Cust was strong off the bench. Brad Parker went off very early with an undisclosed injury and it there was a major reshuffle as a result.

Haumole Olakau’atu is a big unit who ran with purpose and had a fine game. Manase Fainu also looks promising but he was moved into the centres when Parker went down.

Overall we defended very well in the first half, completed our sets and attacked with purpose. The team that came out for the second half were asleep, looked very tired and the Raiders won the physical battle easily. It didn't help when our fullback Luke Polselli was sin-binned for a professional foul either.

I know the club are not at all satisfied with the roster and although there are a few potential first graders amongst the group, a lot work on the recruitment front needs to happy and the club knows it.
