Tom Trbojevic was a Legend

I agree @SeaEagleRock8 but I don't think his best position is at fullback. I am not sure centre is the answer either. Perhaps it's almost time to consider bringing him off the bench in a Dylan Walker type role (60 minutes) to decrease his work rate and maximise his attacking effectiveness for the longer term?
I'm not sure how defending in the middle for 60 minutes is a decrease of workload.
People are looking for answers to questions that don't need asking. Tom is our best fullback. Keep him there for the rest of the year, have a good rest (no kangaroo tour) and come back fit and strong at the start of next season. A pre-season working new combinations with the Fog and we will see him back to his best.

I hope so @Uk eagle but I believe a positional switch that doesn't require the explosive bursts (Toms), that we all know so well, and allows Tom to ball play more, and run less, might extend his career. What we have right now with Tom is unsustainable. Plus, if we have some real defensive workers alongside him in the middle, instead of the plodders we have now, his defensive workload might not be much higher than what it is right now. There is always the option to have him defend a bit wider as well.

Where are all the turbo defenders gone?

He has lost it. He was a generational player but the Corso and injuries have ruined him.

With him and Jake taking 1/6th of our cap next year we going to suffer.
One of the poorest defensive efforts I’ve seen from a fullback. Absolute embarrassing turnstile. At one point, it got so bad when May scored, the turnstile did a bearing and didn’t turn at all.

I remember a few years ago Turbo was so desperate to stop a try he dislocated his shoulder diving to knock it dead. 0 chance he would do that nowadays, he’s given up on himself as a athlete completely

Yeah the thing that stood out today was when he made a great effort to get to that grubber kick got up running and was in the clear it seemed he didn’t know what to do

Yeah that was against Parramatta. I feel that he if he is only interested in the attacking side of rugby league due to injury prevention, he should do the right thing and retire; rugby league is as much about defence as it is about attack and we need a committed last line of defence.

I was one but today the penny really dropped.

I thought he was great in our wins before these four loses. I am not sure what has happened but the decline has been rapid and steep.

I have been saying since he stared the NRL he can't defend to save his life. Too worried about reinjuries . Thank you, but time to Retire Tom, offers nothing anymore except a large salary cap percentage
