It appears that he has been cleared to resume playing NRL next season, should any club want him. Putting aside his off-field indiscretions, should Manly consider making him an offer.
He'd solve two of our needs for 2018 - goal-kicking and an attacking 5/8.
Thoughts?

I'm very happy with Green. Get a quality second rower next to him and then his defence will improve. He is so valuable to our attack and direction. Baz said that Greeny is like a coach on field and that he is a good leader. No need for carney

Im still not sure why pissing in his own mouth got him banned from nrl in the first place... I think he is a w@nk too, and coulda (shoulda) been sacked for most of the dumb stuff he did at canberra, breaking the law countless times, but the bubbler thing? That was nowhere near as bad as old mate dog f?!ker...
If he still had the talent on fiels, ide have him if the $$$ was right

Media pressure.
The NRL are weak, biased and fairly reactive. If it was anyone else and the media had reacted differently, then the NRL would have treated the situation differently (and yes i know not many others would piss in their mouths so dont say no one else would have done that).

He would only be a short term solution. I'd rather manly blood Tom Wright next season and as was earlier mentioned get in a back rower with a high work rate.
