Announcement Tipping Competition is Open

Hi all and thank you for your responses to the poll for the price of the tipping competition.

I have Decided to up the cost this year to $30 for the tipping competition, please come to me if this is an issue for you and I will be happy to see what we can sort out as long as that's fair to the others in the comp.

The money that we get from the competition go a long way to paying for the server and other running costs like licenses etc for the website.
What's in it for you

1. Glory, join the ranks of previous years winners like last years joint winners @Mals & @ABTK (I think even @globaleagle managed to snake a win one year.
2. Winner takes all. Depending on the takings of the comp we offer a $200 prize straight to your Paypal or Stripe account. (this may increase if we get enough participation)
3. A warm fuzzy feeling knowing you are contributing to keeping the lights on here at The Silvertails

How do I join?
The steps to join are a little complicated, and I apologise, I really need to make it easier next year

1. Go to https://silvertails.net/account/upgrades (or click on your name at the top right of the window, then User Upgrades)
2. Purchase the 2025 tipping competition upgrade via paypal or stripe
3. Head to Silvertails 2025 NRL Tipping Competition - Week 26 Results
4. You should see a Button that says "Join Pool" click on that and you are joined up
5. Click on "Manage your picks" and you can enter your tips (Only week 1 is available at the moment and I will add more soon.

I think that was the last year we did a Jersey because sizing was too hard

Well I did try for $50 and 10 points start but that didn’t work.

I consistently end up about 10-12 points behind , one year I came 5th but still about 8 points behind.

Honestly it’s a bitch of a thing to pick , as there’s always upsets but I’ll be in again.
