I expect it will be close and I'm not expecting that the side gets the rub of the green. They need to play well and be committed in defence and keep their errors to a minimum. I hope they don't throw caution to the wind. Go boys!

Anticipating some well engineered results refereeing for the Tigpies this arvo. They won't let the national broadcast game degenerate into a walkover by us for sure. The 6 agains , penalties and sin bins will be killing us this arvo and won't let us get any momentum. Tigpies by 4.

We have to be top class today , any slackening off , even for 10 minutes , with the refs working as you suggest could easily turn this game around.

We should win , but I’ve spent the last week worried about this one as I think the script writers won’t want a blowout so the opposition will get every leg up possible.

Not an easy game at all, due to this factor.

Yesterday Seibold said the team will play 1-17 as named. I am concerned that there is no utility on the bench. Hopefully, this will change before kick off as Johns & Weekes are listed as 18 & 19. In comparison, the Tigers have Simpkin & Talau on their bench.

I’ve got the same worry. It would be ridiculous to go into the match with no cover for the backs. Imagine we had an HIA in the backs, who’s going to play there?

I’m not sure Mick. If the media get a sniff of Manly v Brisbane Friday night magic rd 1v2 I think we might actually be the beneficiaries of the officiating over the next couple of weeks to make that happen.

unfortunately, the Tigpies need to win at some point and whether we like it or not we do have a history of playing terrible sides back into form. I hope we win and win well but this is a danger game if the boys don't take it seriously.

Call me a naysayer, but I feel very nervous about this one. You have to go back to 2008 to find a team going their first seven games without a win. As bad as they are, they are going to come out very hard. And we've shown in several games already, that we can be rattled and fall apart.
