With the weather like it is today in Sydney it will be a hard fast track tonight mid teens by kickoff.

If We are serious about being a finals team we just find a way to win tonight don't care by how much.

Tonight the tigers can't win , what I mean is it's either us going to turn up and take the tigers too easily or the refs giving major leg ups for them to be any chance of winning.

Finally if we win tonight it's the dogs next week, I want the Sydney press to continue to be on the dogs love fest for another week and let them have all the hype because I think we will come with a plan to stop them and make next week a real statement game.

Let's just get the win tonight first however

Agreed. A completion rate of at least 80% will definitely help us. If we decide to play razzle dazzle touch footy we might get bitten on the bum.

I actually think getting the game out of the way early and building our momentum will help us. It puts score board pressure (if we win_ o the Dogs and Sharks not to slip up....

We get an 8 day turnaround before taking on the Dogs.....

and then a 9 day turn around before taking on the Sharks.

It is genuinely favourable for us. get the jump tonight and we REALLY set ourselves up well to finish as well as possible.

Its bloody great for us.

Interesting that Humphreys is named on the extended bench. DCE has been relatively quite the last 2 games with Brooks doing most of the kicking. I wonder if he is carrying some kind of injury and may be a late withdrawal?

Its a good observation Ben.

If EVER you wanted to rest DCE and freshen him up for the finals run, this would be a great game to do it..... but it is too tempting to have a crack at top 4.

If we were to no longer have a shot at top 4, I would 100% look to freshen up a few players leading in to finals

Great weather for footy tonight and we're almost at full strength. What could possibly go wrong...officiating and/or complacency, so we need to be disciplined, ruthless and no slackening off.

Hopefully Brooksy has selective deafness to the Tigers fans and has a blinder.
