Tigers sign Feledy

Just saw that tigers have signed Josh Feledy to a 3 year deal, starting next year.

Cant keep them all, player that has a lot of potential.... not sure how well he will do in the Tigers system.

He’s a different generation to them, 16 or 17, so would have had his own chance to oust them when his time came. Must be money.

I think that would be a major incentive. We don't how much is being offered (maybe 75,000 - 200,000 p.a.?), but it would be a huge amount for a 17 year old & his family. There were probably many clubs interested in L. Fainu. If he was un-signable, then the next best player in the HM team would be a very attractive proposition.

That's the problem with the NRL, we develop him, he is impatient to wait his time, he chases the big bucks and stuffs up his career. Could have been part of a sensational next 5 years for Manly. Wonder who his Manager is, greedy parasites.

Tend to think tiger town got there knickers in a bend, we nabbed Paseka early on from what I believe they chased schuster hard to get from us and this on back of kelma stuff.
I don't begrudge a kid making a decision but that's a dumb move or a basket case club.

Spot on, the clear down side of being one of the premier development clubs in recent years is that it creates a pool of talent and unfortunately it is impossible to keep all of them.

I think we’ve done well to keep Latu, Tolu, bring through and upgrade the likes of Schuster, Haumole etc.

Yeah this is the thing, we will lose some that's the nature of the beast but we are keeping the important ones. Scotty Fulton will continue to identify these kids.
